Every historians know we sometimes need to be prudent with written sources as history tends to be written by the victors. Or by the head of states, which is a weak reflection of the people situation. History is a coin with two sides.

From what age is the tour recommended?

Because this tour is about crimes, it is a teenager favorite! I don't recommend this tour under 11 years old, even more if your kids are sensitive. But everyone treats differently his/her emotions. Some children are interested by criminal cases. Also I let you be the only judge for your own children.

How long is the tour?

If you need a short version (family tours or just because you prefer), 2 hours is the minimum to appreciate this tour in central Paris and Le Marais. If you are in no hurry, a 2.5 hours tour is valued to see more buildings with dark stories in Le Marais.

Is there a day we cannot make this tour?

No, the tour happens rain or shine. Eveything is outside, so no timetable to follow.

Is there a lot of walk?

The tour is between 1.7 and 2.1 miles long. Breaks are possible on the way.

There are not many free toilets on the way, it is better to keep small change (50 cts, 1€ or 2€) just in case.
