Modern Paris: Reinventing the City

The borders of Paris changed few times in history, shaping new and more modern districts at the edge of the town every time. In districts 15 and 16, many places help us to answer this question: how to reinvente the city?

This area changed a lot in 130 years: from peripheric villages of Paris, they became the center of attraction during World Fairs, the new place to build factories, then skyscrappers with the massive Front de Seine town-planning project and also a new kind of conceptual garden.

But this tour is also a pleasant architectural stroll from the quiet Seine sides!
